Invitation, Context & Objectives:
The Surrey North Delta Divisions of Family Practice have invited Pinnacle Pursuits to propose a full day of leadership development and team building for physicians, SND staff and physician families. Goals and objectives for this full day include: 1) neighbourhood-based networking, 2) leadership development, 3) family-bonding.
Proposed/Recommended Program/Format:
Based on what has been discussed, we're looking at both indoor/outdoor option. We’d recommend a full day of progressive team and personal development based activities including Various Leadership workshops, Serious Play-style activities, Team Spirit Event, and possibly Orienteering/Scavenger-hunt Course to do in the area (includes beach shoreline areas).
An agenda could look like the following:
9am – Arrival, Welcome, Icebreakers
9:30am - Leadership Workshop/ Marshmallow Challenge (possibly as a family)
11:00 - Serious Play (at 20ppl) or Team Spirit (possibly as a family at 40ppl)
12:30/1pm – Lunch
1:30/2pm - Scavenger Hunt/Adventure Race Course (at 20ppl or 40ppl)
3:30-4pm – Creative De-brief (What's Next?) & Celebration

Investment & Costs:
For an event of this nature, the price for 20-40 people would be $9,500-13,500 for the full day (plus GST), depending on group size, activities, degree of customization, and overall logistics. Cost includes program consultation/design, planning and paperwork, full staff team, leadership / team-building supplies and equipment as necessary, $5 million comprehensive liability insurance, and full program management.

Recommended Program Activities for
Divisions of Family Practice
Serious Play
A series of fun indoor/outdoor facilitated activity-based team initiatives, for groups that require more focus on group dynamics, social interaction, team-work and fun! Competition is optional as is degree of facilitation (activity choice customized for each group based on group dynamics and training objectives).
Orienteering Challenge
In teams, participants learn to use traditional orienteering methods along with a ‘landmark legend’ and a set of guidelines, to navigate through their environment towards a variety of creative check point stations (mystery team challenges). The initiatives and will require teams to plan, strategize, communicate effectively, and regularly re-evaluate their decisions!
