Date(s): May 17th (morning 9-12noon)
Location:Ā TBD ā most likely Beaconsfield Park
Schedule/Logistics: The group is hoping to have a morning event. The Pinnacle Team will need to arrive 1.5before to set-up and stay an hour to break down and clean-up.
Group Size/Demographics:Ā There will be about 45-50 participants are in their 20ās to 60ās,Ā with differing levels of health and fitness abilities.
Summary of Invitation, Context & Objectives:Ā Leslie Campbell from the Native Education College in Vancouver has invited Jonathan and Pinnacle Pursuits to work with about 50 staff for an afternoon of fun team-building activities. Itās a broad range of staff who work in admin/finance/education; they have been slightly siloāed working out of two different locations, including Musqueam offices and the college campus.
Hopes and Goals for this Experience: With staff working in different areas of disciplines and locations, they have felt a bit siloāed. Overall, the hope is to have a positive memorable day of engaging, interactive, and most of all - inclusive fun activities! Focus is about connecting, bonding, working together, building community, and having a ton of fun!
Proposed Program / Agenda:Ā
Based on our recent phone call, the location/logistics, and group needs, we propose the following: (Note: timing can be modified if needed)
9-9:30am Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā -Traditional Welcome / Overview / Icebreakers
9:30-9:45am Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā -Create 12 teams of 4-5pp, review event rules/guidelines, team bandannas, etc
9:45-11:45am Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā -āTeam Spirit Challengeā Event (7 uniquely fun activity rotations around the field/beach, etc. accumulatingĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā points at each location (includes water/snack break) with the option of a final 4-way Tug-o-war!
11:45-12:15/30Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā -Creative debrief, Awards, Wrap-up, Celebrate!
Investment & Costs:Ā
Cost for up to 50pp for a half day āTeam Spiritā Event ranges is $4,850 - $5,350 depending on which activities are chosen, degree of customization, and final logistics. Cost includes discussions/consulting as required, project management, program planning and paperwork, required staff/facilitators, staff travel/parking, activity supplies and equipment as necessary, and $5 million comprehensive liability insurance. It does not include costs associated with awards/giveaways, professional photography/videography, venue/park permit fees, etc. (however, we are happy to help with the application process).

Team Spirit Challenge

Orienteering Challenge
In teams, participants learn to use traditional orienteering methods along with a ‘landmark legend’ and a set of guidelines, to navigate through their environment towards a variety of creative check point stations (mystery team challenges). The initiatives and will require teams to plan, strategize, communicate effectively, and regularly re-evaluate their decisions!
Amazing Adventure Race
Be ready for a high-impact adventure-based āscavenger hunt-styleā experience! Teams are given a map, legend, course and clues and compete in a unique team adventure challenge, racing through the local trails and beautiful wilderness setting whilst finding and completing strategically hidden and customized checkpoint challenges and team building initiatives.
Amazing Adventure Race: Remote Radio Course
Each team will be split in two & given 2 radios along with maps and clues. The challenge will require teams to strategize carefully, make key decisions, adapt as needed, and communicate via radio in order to complete all creative challenges, checkpoints, and problem-solving tasks successfully.Ā This is an intense experience that mirrors working as a remote team!
Adventure Play at Loon Lake, Maple Ridge
Ā A series of various adventure-based experiences and options from which participants can choose (ie. canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing) that will help get people out of the board room and make any meeting or conference refreshing, interactive and fun! Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centre': Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre, Maple Ridge.
Adventure PlayĀ at Camp Pringle, Shawnigan lake
A series of various adventure-based experiences and options from which participants can choose (ie. canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing) that will help get people out of the board room and make any meeting or conference refreshing, interactive and fun! Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centre': Pringle Camp & Retreat, Shawnigan Lake.
Corporate Picnic Adventure Day
Includes many activity options. Imagine a super fun, interactive, company-wide experience where everyone has the time and space to relax, connect, recharge, play together as colleagues and/or as families, and at the same time accomplish something uniquely different, where company values are promoted and celebrated, and new friendships and memories are created!
Adventure-Play-Wellness Day
Ā The best mix ofĀ of various adventure-based and wellness experiences options from which participants can choose (ie.Ā lantern making, candle-making, personal leadership/goal-setting, clay-work, circle drumming,Ā canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing & more) that will help get people out of the city and make any experience refreshing, interactive and fun! Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centres'.
Paddle & Play Day
Paddle & Play is a unique land & water team-building event that combines your choice of one or several of our land-based activities with either traditional Voyageur Canoes or Dragon Boating. Teams will divide and take turns being on land and on water. They will compete in a series of challenges where teamwork, strategy, problem solving, collaboration, and a sense of fun are key to team and organizational success.
Dragon Boating Adventure
Paddling either 10 or 20-person canoes, and led by a professional team of dragon boat instructors, your group will benefit from the expertise of trained facilitators to help guide them through the basics of dragon boat paddling skills and learn to work together to paddle safely, paddle fast, and have tons of fun!
Serious Play: Indoor

The Marshmallow Challenge Workshop
This challenge is a world renown, fun and instructive exercise that encourages teams to experience simple but profound lessons in collaboration, creativity & innovation. This fast-paced activityĀ inspires a shared learning experience, opening up various possibilities to achieve success - or not!
Virtual Team Building
During our Virtual Programs, each participant will use their skills and creativity in a way that may have taken a back seat in today’s remote work-life. In addition, we debrief each event, so that all participants can learn how to relate and apply the experience to their everyday life and business environment. The overall benefit for you?
