Group size/demographics: 60 young adults aged 18-35yrs.
Summary of Invitation, Context & Group Objectives:Ā
Based on our partnership with Loon Lake, Jialong with the Western Canada Chinese Christian Youth Conference (WCCCYC) has invited Pinnacle Pursuits to host/lead a series of outdoor adventure and group activities for their participants during their overnight conference retreat taking place Oct 11-13th.
Proposed Program Options & Investment/Budget Summary:Ā
Based on your hopes of having an afternoon of fun, memorable outdoor team-building/adventure activities, our recommended options and associated cost range is as follows (Please refer below to Printable Downloadable PDFās with thorough explanations).
Top Recommendation:
- Adventure Play Day (A.K.A Choose Your Own Adventure): Within a 3-4hr period (ie. 1-5pm), participants will have an opportunity to experience 2-3 adventure-based activity choices where we can have 8 activities available. These include:Ā low ropes, high ropes, rock-climbing, canoeing, raft-building, archery, rappelling, and orienteering/woodland scavenger hunt. Your group of 60 will be divided into groups of 10-18pax, depending on the activity, and we will have 4-5 activities occurring simultaneously in 1.5-2hr time blocks. *See Adventure Play Day description below.
Cost: Depending on how we organize the activity logistics (group size, activity choice, and activity duration), we will require approximately 5-8 staff. Ā Total cost range for the program is $3,750 - $6,000 (this includes a 30% NFP discount compared to our regular adult/corporate prices).
Another Option (or added option for a larger group event):
- Team Spirit Event: A high energy, fun, competitive event for all 60 people at once (or 2 x1.5-2hr blocks of 30 pax). Depending on the event duration (2hrs or 3.5hrs), teams will rotate through 5-8 strategically designed,Ā competitiveĀ fast-paced activities that bring out the best in everyoneās energy and teamwork strengths! These are a mix of fun problem-solving, design/build activities, creative puzzles, relays, teamwork activities.Ā We can finish with a giant 4-wayātug-o-war game and fun awards/trophies! *See Team Spirit Challenge description below.
Cost: Similar to the above option, depending on how we organize the activity logistics, we will require approximately 5-8 staff.Ā Total cost range for the program is $5,250 - $6,400 (this includes a 30% NFP discount compared to our regular adult/corporate prices).

Note RE: weather options:
Based on your request wondering if we can have an alternate plan in case of adverse weather conditions. Typically weād still host an outdoor experience with a rain back-up plan, so the answer is YES we can - the program would just change slightly. I am happy to share those options as well. Price may fluctuate slightly as well, depending on logistics and program preferences. Ā
Cost Inclusions:
Pinnacle costs include all administration, program planning and project management, a full professional staff team of instructors / facilitators, return staff travel, staff meals if/where applicable, activity supplies and equipment, and industry specific comprehensive five million dollar liability insurance.

Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centre': Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre, Maple Ridge.
Team Spirit Challenge
An event where the whole group is together in the same area, and teams compete in series of unique high-energy, amazing ‘Survivor-like’ group challenges that require problem-solving, trust-building and creative teamwork solutions! With a fun, strength-based approach, this is a great event for including diverse needs and abilities. Always makes for awesome photos and memories!
Serious Play
FOR INDOOR CONFERENCES & EVENTS
A series of fun indoor facilitated activity-based team initiatives, for groups that require more focus on group dynamics, social interaction, team-work and fun! Competition is optional as is degree of facilitation (activity choice customized for each group based on group dynamics and training objectives).

The initiatives and will require teams to plan, strategize, communicate effectively, and regularly re-evaluate their decisions!
Amazing Adventure Race
Be ready for a high-impact adventure-based āscavenger hunt-styleā experience! Teams are given a map, legend, course and clues and compete in a unique team adventure challenge, racing through the local trails and beautiful wilderness setting whilst finding and completing strategically hidden and customized checkpoint challenges and team building initiatives.
Amazing Adventure Race: Remote Radio Course
Each team will be split in two & given 2 radios along with maps and clues. The challenge will require teams to strategize carefully, make key decisions, adapt as needed, and communicate via radio in order to complete all creative challenges, checkpoints, and problem-solving tasks successfully.Ā This is an intense experience that mirrors working as a remote team!
Corporate Picnic Adventure Day
Includes many activity options. Imagine a super fun, interactive, company-wide experience where everyone has the time and space to relax, connect, recharge, play together as colleagues and/or as families, and at the same time accomplish something uniquely different, where company values are promoted and celebrated, and new friendships and memories are created!
Adventure-Play-Wellness Day
Ā The best mix ofĀ of various adventure-based and wellness experiences options from which participants can choose (ie.Ā lantern making, candle-making, personal leadership/goal-setting, clay-work, circle drumming,Ā canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing & more) that will help get people out of the city and make any experience refreshing, interactive and fun! Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centres'.
Paddle & Play Day
Paddle & Play is a unique land & water team-building event that combines your choice of one or several of our land-based activities with either traditional Voyageur Canoes or Dragon Boating. Teams will divide and take turns being on land and on water. They will compete in a series of challenges where teamwork, strategy, problem solving, collaboration, and a sense of fun are key to team and organizational success.
Dragon Boating Adventure
Paddling either 10 or 20-person canoes, and led by a professional team of dragon boat instructors, your group will benefit from the expertise of trained facilitators to help guide them through the basics of dragon boat paddling skills and learn to work together to paddle safely, paddle fast, and have tons of fun!
Virtual Team Building
During our Virtual Programs, each participant will use their skills and creativity in a way that may have taken a back seat in today’s remote work-life. In addition, we debrief each event, so that all participants can learn how to relate and apply the experience to their everyday life and business environment. The overall benefit for you? You will see how your team can continue to grow and connect, even when physically apart.
