Invitation, Context & Objectives: Technical Safety BC's HR Team is coming to Loon Lake for a retreat in June with Senior Leaders staying 2 nights, and the rest of the team joining for the final day on June 3rd. Technical Safety BC have invited Pinnacle Pursuits to propose a one day program of our Outdoor Adventure Team Building Events/Activities in the on Day 3, which will take place on their final day with the whole group on Friday, June 3rd. Pinnacle Pursuits is also available to facilitate custom group processes or an Interactive Workshops for the Senior Team during their overnight stay.
Exact Professional Development, Training & Learning Themes: TBD. Once you have had a look at the various activities and interactive workshops, we will be happy to tailor a session that fits your needs in the way of your culture, context, group dynamics and overall learning and development goals. Note; our activities and workshops are professionally facilitated and we make the learning relevant, fun and memorable!
Proposed Program & Agenda Flow:
Keeping in mind what we know so far, and that logistics and timing are still TBD, we have various Indoor/Outdoor Workshops and Outdoor Adventure Team-building activities available at Loon Lake to choose from, to meet a variety of needs. Please review the following options, and let us know of any questions you may have to then move forward:
NOTE: For details on your proposed activity options with downloadable PDF's, please see "Recommended Program Activities for Technical Safety BC's HR Team" below. (rappelling is currently not available at Loon Lake).
Investment & Budget: For a program of this nature, for a group of your size and requirements, for a half to full day, the estimated cost range is $2,500-$6,500 + GST (pending exact length and workshops and/or activities chosen). This includes full program planning/management (exact topics/theme TBD), a full staff/facilitator team, return travel/mileage, program handouts, all program equipment/supplies, and five million comprehensive liability. Meals and accommodation and any additional onsite or custom costs (ie. meeting room, swag/giveaways/awards, etc), would be in addition.

Team Spirit Challenge
An event where the whole group is together in the same area, and teams compete in series of unique high-energy, amazing ‘Survivor-like’ group challenges that require problem-solving, trust-building and creative teamwork solutions! With a fun, strength-based approach, this is a great event for including diverse needs and abilities. Always makes for awesome photos and memories!
Adventure Play at Loon Lake,
Maple Ridge
A series of various adventure-based experiences and options from which participants can choose (ie. canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing) that will help get people out of the board room and make any meeting or conference refreshing, interactive and fun! Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centre': Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre, Maple Ridge.
Serious Play
A series of fun indoor/outdoor facilitated activity-based team initiatives, for groups that require more focus on group dynamics, social interaction, team-work and fun! Competition is optional as is degree of facilitation (activity choice customized for each group based on group dynamics and training objectives).
Orienteering Challenge
In teams, participants learn to use traditional orienteering methods along with a ‘landmark legend’ and a set of guidelines, to navigate through their environment towards a variety of creative check point stations (mystery team challenges). The initiatives and will require teams to plan, strategize, communicate effectively, and regularly re-evaluate their decisions!
Interactive Training Workshops
Facilitated personal and professional development training topics. These may include Strategic Visioning & Values, Clear Communication=Clear Leadership, Creativity & Collaboration, Leadership Assessment Profiles & more. These sessions are often customized to fit your specific group dynamics as well as your organizational culture, learning and development goals. We ensure the training is relevant, transferable, refreshing and fun!
