Date(s): Feb 3rd, 2023 - 1 night program. Arriving on a Thursday night; one full day of team-building experiences on Friday; depart.
Location: Loon Lake Lodge in Maple Ridge
Number of Participants: 20+ participants/Project Management Team - young, fit, outdoorsy, ready for an adventure!
Invitation, Context & Objectives: The StructureCraft team is looking for fun activities in groups, to make people talk and work together. With a lot of new hires, providing time to exchange more is very important. Some key focuses can possibly include: outdoor activities, fun human connection, possibly light-hearted competition, strengthening group dynamics, interpersonal relationships; have fun sharing adventures together.
Proposed Program/Format:
Based on the objectives above, the idea would be to have different team-building experiences where groups may shift and change, mix and mingle - with larger and smaller group activities, preferably outdoorsy, adventurous, and fun!
*Note: based on the nature of the group, mainly high energy young competitive males, we have chosen to make the day as competitive as possible where, for each activity or event, participants will be on different teams, and where both individual and team points will be tallied and evaluated at the end.
Proposed Program:
Based on our phone call, and the decision to SCORE all activities, where possible, we have created two agenda options for the day. These will progressively bring people together, keep the creative competitive energy strong, and the fun and motivation factor high!
These include: ‘Serious Play’, (1-2.5hrs of playful, interactive games and activities that are carefully facilitated all at once or over time), Personality Awareness, the Marshmallow Challenge along with Leadership Lessons, and a full afternoon in a Custom version of our Amazing Adventure Race (2hr).

Investment & Costs:
For a full-day program of this nature, customized to meet your objectives and scorability potential, for a group of up to 20 people, price will be $5,800 (includes a 10% discount for full day programming). Any additional participants are priced at $150pp. Cost includes any upfront discussions/consulting as required, program design, planning and paperwork, staff team (4-5pp), team-building activity supplies and equipment as necessary, $5 million comprehensive liability insurance, and full program management. Cost does not include swag/awards/giveaways, staff meals, venue spaces/AV equipment (if required).

StructureCraft:
Serious Play
A series of fun indoor/outdoor facilitated activity-based team initiatives, for groups that require more focus on group dynamics, social interaction, team-work and fun! Competition is optional as is degree of facilitation (activity choice customized for each group based on group dynamics and training objectives).
Amazing Adventure Race
Be ready for a high-impact adventure-based ‘scavenger hunt-style’ experience! Teams are given a map, legend, course and clues and compete in a unique team adventure challenge, racing through the local trails and beautiful wilderness setting whilst finding and completing strategically hidden and customized checkpoint challenges and team building initiatives.

In-Person Team Building Programs Include...
Orienteering Challenge
In teams of 4-5, participants learn to use traditional orienteering methods (map and compass) along with a ‘landmark legend’ and a set of guidelines, to navigate through their environment towards a variety of creative check point stations (mystery team challenges). The combination of initiatives and will require teams to plan, strategize, communicate effectively, and regularly re-evaluate their decisions!
Paddle & Play Day
Paddle & Play is a unique land & water team-building event that combines your choice of one or several of our land-based activities with either traditional Voyageur Canoes or Dragon Boating. Teams will divide and take turns being on land and on water. They will compete in a series of challenges where teamwork, strategy, problem solving, collaboration, and a sense of fun are key to team and organizational success.
Adventure Play at Loon Lake,
Maple Ridge
A series of various adventure-based experiences and options from which participants can choose (ie. canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing). Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centre': Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre, Maple Ridge.
Interactive Training Workshops
Facilitated personal and professional development training topics. These may include Strategic Visioning & Values, Clear Communication=Clear Leadership, Team Understanding & Diversity (Who’s on the Team?), Creative Problem-solving and Navigating Change. These are often customized for each group to meet their specific learning, training, and organizational needs.
