Length of Time: 10:00am - 3:00pm
Invitation, Context & Objectives: Southridge School has invited Pinnacle Pursuits to host them at Loon Lake for their employees.
August 24th: 15 adults from 30-60 years for a meaningful pro-d experience. Agenda will start at 10am and finish at 3pm (with lunch at 1pm) and the main focus is to connect, be outdoors, have some fun participating in facilitated team-building and outdoor activities like we'd do with the students; but of course, with a more adult approach specifically designed for your team. We love your motto 'light-hearted place of serious purpose'.
Proposed Program/Format:
Based on recent discussions, we will plan to have Serious Play first thing to bring everyone together and start with 4-6 activities in the field at Loon Lake. Then after, we would facilitate the Low Ropes Course, building on that communication, teamwork, and connection we first established in the morning:
10:00am - Meet in Pelton Playing Field
10:00 - 12:30 - Welcome & Introductions, Icebreaker's, & Serious Play Activities with everyone together
12:30 - 1:30 - Lunch at Family Dining Hall
1:30 - 3:00pm - Low Ropes Course with everyone together
3:00pm - Wrap up with group
Investment & Costs:
For an event of this nature, the price for up to 15 people is $3,000 plus GST. Cost includes program design, planning and paperwork, staff team, team-building supplies as necessary, $5 million comprehensive liability insurance, and full program management.

Team Spirit Challenge
An event where the whole group is together in the same area, and teams compete in series of unique high-energy, amazing ‘Survivor-like’ group challenges that require problem-solving, trust-building and creative teamwork solutions! With a fun, strength-based approach, this is a great event for including diverse needs and abilities. Always makes for awesome photos and memories!
Adventure Play at Loon Lake,
Maple Ridge
A series of various adventure-based experiences and options from which participants can choose (ie. canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing) that will help get people out of the board room and make any meeting or conference refreshing, interactive and fun! Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centre': Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre, Maple Ridge.
Serious Play
A series of fun indoor/outdoor facilitated activity-based team initiatives, for groups that require more focus on group dynamics, social interaction, team-work and fun! Competition is optional as is degree of facilitation (activity choice customized for each group based on group dynamics and training objectives).
Overnight or One-Day Youth Adventure Program
Make it an an awesome out-trip to our partner facility Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre in Maple Ridge. Choose from a ton of amazing activities like high or low ropes course, rock-climbing, raft-building, eco-hike, canoeing, archery, Wildskills™, orienteering, team-building, and possibly a campfire!

Orienteering Challenge
In teams of 4-5, participants learn to use traditional orienteering methods (map and compass) along with a ‘landmark legend’ and a set of guidelines, to navigate through their environment towards a variety of creative check point stations (mystery team challenges). The combination of initiatives and will require teams to plan, strategize, communicate effectively, and regularly re-evaluate their decisions!
Amazing Adventure Race
Be ready for a high-impact adventure-based ‘scavenger hunt-style’ experience! Teams are given a map, legend, course and clues and compete in a unique team adventure challenge, racing through the local trails and beautiful wilderness setting whilst finding and completing strategically hidden and customized checkpoint challenges and team building initiatives.
Paddle & Play Day
Paddle & Play is a unique land & water team-building event that combines your choice of one or several of our land-based activities with either traditional Voyageur Canoes or Dragon Boating. Teams will divide and take turns being on land and on water. They will compete in a series of challenges where teamwork, strategy, problem solving, collaboration, and a sense of fun are key to team and organizational success.
Interactive Training Workshops
Facilitated personal and professional development training topics. These may include Strategic Visioning & Values, Clear Communication=Clear Leadership, Team Understanding & Diversity (Who’s on the Team?), Creative Problem-solving and Navigating Change. These are often customized for each group to meet their specific learning, training, and organizational needs.
