Location: Sandman Hotel, Langley BC
Length of Time: Three 30 minute sessions with Pinnacle throughout the day - 90 minutes total.
Invitation, Context & Objectives: Mac's have invited Pinnacle Pursuits to propose three different 30 minute sessions of fun, playful, and lighthearted activities during their full day program. They have 60 people participating of diverse ages and abilities. Key takeaways for this session will be providing the opportunity for staff to create fun and human connections, have some light hearted competition, and overall have fun together!
Proposed Program/Format:
Overall this program as stated above is all about keeping people connected, energized and engaged during an all-day conference. We have a space that includes a large indoor Ballroom, plus a small outdoor space that we can use to move the group to and around.
Timing wise, we are looking at possibly a 30min morning session around 10 or 11am (large group icebreaker style), then two 30min sessions in the afternoon around 1/2/3pm. Exact logistics TBD. Morning activities may have the whole audience divided into small groups with activities that may include a competitive aspect.
Program proposed: When it comes to this kind of event, we have often dubbed it a ‘Play-Note’. These are based on working with a large group audience in playful, interactive games and activities to keep people energized and engaged, and is more an indoor-version of our ‘Serious Play’! We have included both descriptions for you to review.
Investment & Costs:
For an event of this nature, the price range would be $3,000-$4,000 for professionally presented, organized and facilitated activities. Cost range depends on final activities, degree of customization, and number of staff. Cost includes program design, planning and paperwork, staff team, team-building supplies as necessary, $5 million comprehensive liability insurance, and full program management.

Custom Serious Play - Conference
A series of fun indoor facilitated activity-based team initiatives, for groups that require more focus on group dynamics, social interaction, team-work and fun! Competition is optional as is degree of facilitation (activity choice customized for each group based on group dynamics and training objectives).
Custom Play Notes - Conference
Experiential Keynotes, Playnotes & Workshops that engage energy, inspire action, and transform results! True to “Jono’s” unique style and all Pinnacle Pursuits’ experiential programs and learning events, he will help create an dynamic and engaging program that offers participants opportunities to interact, connect, collaborate, and be inspired to take action.

Serious Play
A series of fun indoor/outdoor facilitated activity-based team initiatives, for groups that require more focus on group dynamics, social interaction, team-work and fun! Team Spirit Challenge
An event where the whole group is together in the same area, and teams compete in series of unique high-energy, amazing ‘Survivor-like’ group challenges that require problem-solving, trust-building and creative teamwork solutions! This is a great event for including diverse needs and abilities.
Orienteering Challenge
In teams of 4-5, participants learn to use traditional orienteering methods (map and compass) along with a ‘landmark legend’ and a set of guidelines, to navigate through their environment towards a variety of creative check point stations (mystery team challenges). The combination of initiatives and will require teams to plan, strategize, communicate effectively, and regularly re-evaluate their decisions!
Amazing Adventure Race
Be ready for a high-impact adventure-based ‘scavenger hunt-style’ experience! Teams are given a map, legend, course and clues and compete in a unique team adventure challenge, racing through the local trails and beautiful wilderness setting whilst finding and completing strategically hidden and customized checkpoint challenges and team building initiatives.
Paddle & Play Day
Paddle & Play is a unique land & water team-building event that combines your choice of one or several of our land-based activities with either traditional Voyageur Canoes or Dragon Boating. Teams will divide and take turns being on land and on water. They will compete in a series of challenges where teamwork, strategy, problem solving, collaboration, and a sense of fun are key to team and organizational success.
Adventure Play at Loon Lake,
Maple Ridge
A series of various adventure-based experiences and options from which participants can choose (ie. canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing). Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centre': Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre, Maple Ridge.
