Lululemon Atheletica
Summary of Your Needs & Logistics:
Contact: Jessica Miyagawa
Date(s): September 12th, 2023
Location: Bowen Island, B.C.
Timing: Full Day - see below for timing
Number of Participants: approx 180 participants - could be anywhere from 150-200
Invitation, Context & Objectives:
Jessica from Lululemon has invited Pinnacle Pursuits to propose a full day for their team of approx. 180-200 at Bowen Island. This team building event will act as a bit of an icebreaker & collaborative team builder - it will be day 1 out of their 2 days to connect with their full team. This will be the first in-person event since June 2019, the last time working with Pinnacle. There are multiple separate working groups that Lululemon would like to bring together, meet, and work in-person as COVID has brought disconnect.
Proposed Program Format:
Based on your objectives, the number of people attending, and overall timing, Pinnacle Pursuits is proposing to have participants either all together for the full day, or split into 2 groups of 90-100 people. If splitting into 2 groups, the idea would be to have 2 different team-building experiences going on at the same time - and then switch halfway through for equal experiences.
Proposed Program:
We have created 2 different options for you to review: These options will bring out the best in people, have people connecting with each other, working together collaboratively, and overall create an environment for playful fun, laughter, and lasting memories.
These include:
Option 1 - Everyone all together:
‘Team Spirit Challenge’ (4-4.5hr of competitive survivor-like team building games in different teams) & possibility add-on of ‘Serious Play’ at the beginning, (30 min-1 hr of playful, interactive games and activities that are carefully facilitated if time permits).
Option 2 - Split into 2 groups of approx. 90:
Activity 1 - ‘Team Spirit Challenge’ (2-2.5hr,) Competitive survivor-like team building games in different teams)
Activity 2 - ‘Amazing Race/Orienteering Course Challenge’ (2-2.5hr, includes transition) Great opportunity to explore Snug Cove & Killarney Creek Park on Bowen Island in a face-paced scavenger hunt-style adventure, have teams working together in small teams, and tackle unique and fun challenges along the way.

OUR WHY:
WE BELIEVE...that in a world that is constantly changing in complexity, continues to grow in demands and expectations, and where ‘disconnect’ is becoming more prevalent, the same thread of humanness continues to run through each of us: the need and drive to be curious, learn, connect with others, understand and be understood, feel valued among peers, trust one another, take risks, challenge ourselves, live and work with purpose, and achieve. These qualitative experiences may be difficult to measure, but that does not undermine their importance; they have an enormous impact on personal growth, confidence, happiness, and overall performance and success in all areas of life. We believe that these are the most important qualities and values for both individuals and teams, and also for humanity as a whole.
At Pinnacle Pursuits, we dedicate our work and focus to the design and delivery of such experiences.
