Length of Time: Half Day Morning to Afternoon Session - 9:30am - 12:30pm with a catered lunch after.
Invitation, Context & Objectives: Insurance Council of BC has invited Pinnacle Pursuits to propose a half day morning to afternoon session of fun light-hearted team building activities to get everyone together for some in-person connecting! They have approx. 84 people participating. Their whole group has been requesting and yearning for a day off in the outdoors, and want to keep the overall focus of the day all about the unique team building experience for everyone all together. They are based in Vancouver, and have been working remotely since COVID. They want to try to keep the program close to Vancouver so people can carpool or use public transportation easily.
Proposed Program/Format:
Based on the most recent discussions of having the event now fully indoors and focusing mainly on collaboration and connection, Pinnacle Pursuits is proposing three options as outlined below….

Investment & Budget:
Half Day Cost: For a program of this nature, for a group of your size and requirements, for a half day, the budgeted cost is $7,280.00 for up to 84 people. Additional participants will be $70 per person. This includes full program planning/management, a full staff/facilitator team, return travel/mileage, program handouts, all program equipment/supplies, and five million comprehensive liability. Any additional onsite or custom costs (ie. permits, swag/giveaways/awards, etc), would be in addition.
Venue Research Fees - To summarize, our charge at this point is 4 hours of research/support at $125/hr = $500.00. If/when we book and host your event, we will not charge you for this fee, if you do not book us for your event, we will invoice you $500.00.
Catering Option: Based on your choice of F&B, the estimated budget cost is $25-$50 per person. To manage your catering, Pinnacle Pursuits will charge 15% onto catering fee.

In-Person Team Building Programs Include...
Serious Play
A series of fun indoor/outdoor facilitated activity-based team initiatives, for groups that require more focus on group dynamics, social interaction, team-work and fun! Competition is optional as is degree of facilitation (activity choice customized for each group based on group dynamics and training objectives).
Team Spirit Challenge
An event where the whole group is together in the same area, and teams compete in series of unique high-energy, amazing ‘Survivor-like’ group challenges that require problem-solving, trust-building and creative teamwork solutions! This is a great event for including diverse needs and abilities.
Orienteering Challenge
In teams of 4-5, participants learn to use traditional orienteering methods (map and compass) along with a ‘landmark legend’ and a set of guidelines, to navigate through their environment towards a variety of creative check point stations (mystery team challenges). The combination of initiatives and will require teams to plan, strategize, communicate effectively, and regularly re-evaluate their decisions!
Amazing Adventure Race
Be ready for a high-impact adventure-based ‘scavenger hunt-style’ experience! Teams are given a map, legend, course and clues and compete in a unique team adventure challenge, racing through the local trails and beautiful wilderness setting whilst finding and completing strategically hidden and customized checkpoint challenges and team building initiatives.
Paddle & Play Day
Paddle & Play is a unique land & water team-building event that combines your choice of one or several of our land-based activities with either traditional Voyageur Canoes or Dragon Boating. Teams will divide and take turns being on land and on water. They will compete in a series of challenges where teamwork, strategy, problem solving, collaboration, and a sense of fun are key to team and organizational success.
Adventure Play at Loon Lake,
Maple Ridge
A series of various adventure-based experiences and options from which participants can choose (ie. canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing). Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centre': Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre, Maple Ridge.
