Invitation & Context:
Elevation Capital has been remote for the last few years; this is the first time being in person. Key outcomes for this experience include key to connection before summer holidays and the need to bond and work on dynamics instead of having a strategy meeting (improving dynamics and team connection = main priority!).
Exact event/theme/objectives: Getting to know themselves and each other better; deeper awareness, bonding, understanding; learn improved approached for stronger team dynamics; integration of experiential activities to lock-in the learning; clear takeaways that will be transferable to life, leadership and working together; having fun!
Proposed Program Agenda:
Day 1 Inclusions:
2 hours: setting context, icebreakers with intention, design and build activity to intensify dynamics with debriefing on decisions, values, overall top performance ingredients.
1.5-2hours: group coaching session, reflecting on key components of personal leadership from both a personal and thus professional perspective.
3 hours: workshop to go deeper through emotional intelligence; experiential activities to locket in.
Day 2 Inclusions:
1-3 hours: continue day 1 as needed. TBD
1.5-2 hours: possibly a dragon boat excursion/challenge in False Creek/Burrard Inlet with a professional coach, using the idea of paddling in sync as a team - in various situations and positions - as a metaphor to working together in life, leadership and business. This can be a positive intense experience, powerful for transference of insights and learning.
1-3 hours: possibly either facilitated strategy session or allow for the team to have their own space to debrief and integrate the last 1.5 days into their overall next steps and strategy as they look into the near future….
Options/descriptions below include: Serious Play, Paddle n Play, and Interactive Training Workshops (note Emotional Intelligence). Ultimately, the agenda we would be creating will be more customized to your needs as the proposed agenda above outlines.
Investment & Costs:
For this event, and group size, cost will range from $8,000-9,500 - range based on final content, logistics, activities and any additional customization required. Costs include detailed design and planning as needed, welcome letter, activity supplies, management and facilitation, possible Dragon Boat activity/challenge, $5 million comprehensive liability insurance, staff travel and mileage. Staff meals, room/AV requirements, swag/awards/giveaways, etc in addition.
*Additional Recommendation: For an addition of $500, we would also be happy to provide a short (8-12) pre-retreat leadership coaching questionnaire for participants to complete before they come, and to bring with them to discuss/de-brief; ultimately this will help with their mindset as they prepare for the session, assist the group to go deeper quicker, and naturally therefore accelerate the group coaching session.

In-Person Team Building Programs that Include...
Serious Play
A series of fun indoor/outdoor facilitated activity-based team initiatives, for groups that require more focus on group dynamics, social interaction, team-work and fun! Competition is optional as is degree of facilitation (activity choice customized for each group based on group dynamics and training objectives).
Interactive Training Workshops
Facilitated personal and professional development training topics. These may include Strategic Visioning & Values, Clear Communication=Clear Leadership, Team Understanding & Diversity (Who’s on the Team?), Creative Problem-solving and Navigating Change. These are often customized for each group to meet their specific learning, training, and organizational needs.
Paddle & Play Day
Paddle & Play is a unique land & water team-building event that combines your choice of one or several of our land-based activities with either traditional Voyageur Canoes or Dragon Boating. Teams will divide and take turns being on land and on water. They will compete in a series of challenges where teamwork, strategy, problem solving, collaboration, and a sense of fun are key to team and organizational success.
Team Spirit Challenge
An event where the whole group is together in the same area, and teams compete in series of unique high-energy, amazing ‘Survivor-like’ group challenges that require problem-solving, trust-building and creative teamwork solutions! This is a great event for including diverse needs and abilities.
Amazing Adventure Race
Be ready for a high-impact adventure-based ‘scavenger hunt-style’ experience! Teams are given a map, legend, course and clues and compete in a unique team adventure challenge, racing through the local trails and beautiful wilderness setting whilst finding and completing strategically hidden checkpoint challenges and team building initiatives.
Orienteering Challenge
In teams of 4-5, participants learn to use traditional orienteering methods (map and compass) along with a ‘landmark legend’ and a set of guidelines, to navigate through their environment towards a variety of creative check point stations (mystery team challenges). The combination of initiatives and will require teams to plan, strategize, communicate effectively, and regularly re-evaluate their decisions!
Destination Adventure
A series of various adventure-based experiences and options from which participants can choose (ie. canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing). Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centres': located in Maple Ridge or Squamish,75-90 minutes from Vancouver.
