This is a retreat event for a diverse team from 11 Applewood Auto dealerships, including those from sales, service, management, finance, marketing, HR, etc. The group will be staying at Nita Lake Lodge and is open and excited about a scavenger hunt concept/experience in Whistler village that is inclusive to diverse fitness abilities and somewhat competitive at the same time!
The vision for the event at this point, is to host it in Whistler village, with a unique interactive scavenger hunt style experience - either Smartphone style or ‘old-school’ style with maps and compasses!
Pinnacle Pursuits has designed and hosted this style of event throughout the world, and knows Whistler well. With over 15 creative challenges and checkpoint locations throughout the village it will be guaranteed to be uniquely fun and memorable, Applewood style!
Investment & Costs:
For this event, and group size, cost will range from $4,500-$6,500 - range based on final logistics, length/number of challenges, possible use of unique takeaways/costs, possible swag/awards/giveaways, etc. Costs include detailed planning and paperwork, welcome packages, team handouts (maps and passports) and supplies, possible use of GPS/Smartphone, $5 million comprehensive liability insurance, and full program management and staffing. Staff living costs and travel/mileage are in addition as reimbursables.

Be ready for a high-impact adventure-based ‘scavenger hunt-style’ experience! Teams are given a map, legend, course and clues and compete in a unique team adventure challenge, racing through through the scenic mountain resort village of Whistler B.C. whilst finding and completing strategically hidden and customized checkpoint challenges and team building initiatives.

In-Person Team Building Programs Include...
Serious Play
A series of fun indoor/outdoor facilitated activity-based team initiatives, for groups that require more focus on group dynamics, social interaction, team-work and fun! Competition is optional as is degree of facilitation (activity choice customized for each group based on group dynamics and training objectives).
Orienteering Challenge
In teams of 4-5, participants learn to use traditional orienteering methods (map and compass) along with a ‘landmark legend’ and a set of guidelines, to navigate through their environment towards a variety of creative check point stations (mystery team challenges). The combination of initiatives and will require teams to plan, strategize, communicate effectively, and regularly re-evaluate their decisions!
Paddle & Play Day
Paddle & Play is a unique land & water team-building event that combines your choice of one or several of our land-based activities with either traditional Voyageur Canoes or Dragon Boating. Teams will divide and take turns being on land and on water. They will compete in a series of challenges where teamwork, strategy, problem solving, collaboration, and a sense of fun are key to team and organizational success.
Adventure Play at Loon Lake,
Maple Ridge
A series of various adventure-based experiences and options from which participants can choose (ie. canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing). Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centre': Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre, Maple Ridge.
Interactive Training Workshops
Facilitated personal and professional development training topics. These may include Strategic Visioning & Values, Clear Communication=Clear Leadership, Team Understanding & Diversity (Who’s on the Team?), Creative Problem-solving and Navigating Change. These are often customized for each group to meet their specific learning, training, and organizational needs.
