Length of Time: Half Day Afternoon Session: 12:30pm - 3:30pm
Invitation, Context & Objectives: Based on a previous successful program, Community Ventures Society has invited Pinnacle Pursuits to propose an afternoon of fun light-hearted team building activities during their stay at Loon Lake on the last afternoon before they depart. They have approx. 25-30 people participating that make up their leadership group. Their staff directly support children and adults with developmental disabilities in a variety of programs and they have worked as essential workers since the pandemic started. They are looking for an activity that would be fun for them to do as a group that will allow everyone to release stress, have fun, laugh and work as a team.
Proposed Program & Agenda Flow:
Based on recent discussions, C.V.S is interested in the Team Spirit Challenge & Amazing Adventure Race programs that we offer up at Loon Lake. For details on your proposed activity options with downloadable PDF's, please see "Recommended Program Activities for Community Ventures Society's Team" below.
Investment & Budget: For a program of this nature, for a group of your size and requirements, for a half day, we would be happy to offer either program: Team Spirit Challenge or Amazing Adventure Race for $2,300 for up to 20 people. Please note we are offering it for about 25-30% less, as we did with your August 3rd program. This includes full program planning/management, 3-4 staff/facilitator team, return travel/mileage, program handouts, all program equipment/supplies, and five million comprehensive liability. Any additional onsite or custom costs (ie. swag/giveaways/awards, etc), would be in addition.

Team Spirit Challenge
An event where the whole group is together in the same area, and teams compete in series of unique high-energy, amazing ‘Survivor-like’ group challenges that require problem-solving, trust-building and creative teamwork solutions! With a fun, strength-based approach, this is a great event for including diverse needs and abilities. Always makes for awesome photos and memories!

In-Person Team Building Programs Include...
Serious Play
A series of fun indoor/outdoor facilitated activity-based team initiatives, for groups that require more focus on group dynamics, social interaction, team-work and fun! Competition is optional as is degree of facilitation (activity choice customized for each group based on group dynamics and training objectives).
Orienteering Challenge
In teams of 4-5, participants learn to use traditional orienteering methods (map and compass) along with a ‘landmark legend’ and a set of guidelines, to navigate through their environment towards a variety of creative check point stations (mystery team challenges). The combination of initiatives and will require teams to plan, strategize, communicate effectively, and regularly re-evaluate their decisions!
Amazing Adventure Race
Be ready for a high-impact adventure-based ‘scavenger hunt-style’ experience! Teams are given a map, legend, course and clues and compete in a unique team adventure challenge, racing through the local trails and beautiful wilderness setting whilst finding and completing strategically hidden and customized checkpoint challenges and team building initiatives.
Paddle & Play Day
Paddle & Play is a unique land & water team-building event that combines your choice of one or several of our land-based activities with either traditional Voyageur Canoes or Dragon Boating. Teams will divide and take turns being on land and on water. They will compete in a series of challenges where teamwork, strategy, problem solving, collaboration, and a sense of fun are key to team and organizational success.
Adventure Play at Loon Lake,
Maple Ridge
A series of various adventure-based experiences and options from which participants can choose (ie. canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing). Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centre': Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre, Maple Ridge.
Interactive Training Workshops
Facilitated personal and professional development training topics. These may include Strategic Visioning & Values, Clear Communication=Clear Leadership, Team Understanding & Diversity (Who’s on the Team?), Creative Problem-solving and Navigating Change. These are often customized for each group to meet their specific learning, training, and organizational needs.
