Prevention is a key aspect of risk management. Since 1997, Pinnacle Pursuits has worked in all types of outdoor and indoor settings as well as a variety of unique venues as part of programming for youth and adults all over the world. Part of our reputation has been built on our impeccable track record of safety and therefore we are committed to ensuring that our programming follows strict risk management standards and protocol. We focus on three key areas of safety: physical, emotional and social safety. Our approach is strength-based to ensure that all areas of safety are optimized.

As with all Pinnacle Pursuits programs, we promote optimal participation, which is facilitated by encouraging each individual to participate at their personal best. It is our goal to provide inclusive, appropriate and meaningful challenges to participants of all levels and abilities.

We follow industry safety standards including staff:participant ratios and work with the school to ensure we meet their standards and address any unique circumstances as needed. Our staff educators, instructors and facilitators are experts in their respective skills and are passionate about what they do, including managing safety and risk!

To help protect the health and safety of all participants and staff, Pinnacle Pursuits follows strict COVID-19 program guidelines based on industry standards. We work collaboratively with all clients/school groups to ensure expectations are being met from both sides. This includes promoting the health and safety of students/employees/volunteers and staff alike, ensuring that all people involved have passed standard COVID-screening protocol and questions. 

From a healthy programming standpoint, we ensure masks are worn as needed, physical distancing as needed, the regular use of hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies and equipment in a timely and effective fashion, and doing as much as we can outdoors in the fresh air!
