Length of Time: Half day - 3.5 hours - 12:45pm - 4:00pm
Invitation & Context:
The City of Surrey Emerging Leaders, has invited Pinnacle Pursuits to propose a 1/2 day fun and celebratory team building experience. There will be about 20-35 participants who are all from the Emerging Leaders Program.
Due to COVID restrictions, the program participants have yet to all come together in-person to mix & mingle and get to know each other. The first 1/2 has been done virtual, so this is their first opportunity to connect as a team!
Event Vision & Objective:
The overall objective of this event is to use the time for people to get together, connect, laugh, and have fun together. It's more about allowing the group to connect in-person and to just connect as people and be human.
Proposed Program & Agenda Flow:
We had discussed the idea of starting the day with the participants having lunch together before the Pinnacle Pursuits activities begin. This will allow for some lighthearted connection naturally as a group on their own time. We will start the day off with some fun icebreakers and connection activities, followed by our Team Spirit Activities facilitated by our Pinnacle Pursuits Team. Then finally, finishing the day with a thoughtful creative debrief in their teams.

Team Spirit Challenge
Imagine a park or field with a series of pre-built obstacles and and team-challenges ready, some of which are based off the TV Show 'Survivor'. Using their teamwork skills, problem-solving tactics, and wits, teams of 5-6 members will be tasked to compete in each unique challenge alongside other teams, earning as many points as possible to become the final winner! This is a great event for including diverse needs and abilities. (*Options of challenges available to choose from).
Our Other Popular Programs:
Serious Play
A series of fun indoor/outdoor facilitated activity-based team initiatives, for groups that require more focus on group dynamics, social interaction, team-work and fun! Competition is optional as is degree of facilitation (activity choice customized for each group based on group dynamics and training objectives).
Adventure Play at Loon Lake,
Maple Ridge
A series of various adventure-based experiences and options from which participants can choose (ie. canoeing, raft-building, archery, low ropes and high ropes, rock climbing). Located at one of our partner 'Adventure-Centre': Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre, Maple Ridge.
Amazing Adventure Race
Be ready to for a high-impact adventure-based ‘scavenger hunt-style’ experience! Teams of 4-5 members will compete in a unique team adventure challenge, racing across/through various park and wilderness (or urban) areas that have been strategically mapped out, whilst completing customized checkpoint challenges and team building initiatives along the way. Certainly not for the feint hearted!
Interactive Learning & Training Workshops
Facilitated personal and professional development training topics. These may include Strategic Visioning & Values, Clear Communication=Clear Leadership, Team Understanding & Diversity (Who’s on the Team?), Creative Problem-solving and Navigating Change. These are often customized for each group to meet their specific learning, training, and organizational needs.
