Â
Build It and They Will Come:
Â
Extreme and high end adventure-based tourism experiences mixed with cultural education, have been taking off around the globe. People - of all ages - are becoming more attracted to healthy, educational, unique, adventure experiences. We would base such a centre on other successful, global models, like they have in the UK, Europe, Canada, US, and Central-South America. Â
Â
It will be the first of its kind in BCâs Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, where there is a high demand for such an all-inclusive destination experience.
Â
Phase 1 would offer a world-class adventure park, possibly a Traditional First Nations Longhouse, interactive cultural experience, indoor theatre for video & live presentations, and a BVMR Display Centre, followed by additional development that requires greater infrastructure occurring in later stages (ie. Restaurant & Conference Centre, Art Gallery, Lodge Cabins, etc).
Â
Not only will it be an excellent attraction for tour groups, families, schools, corporate groups and wedding parties, we will also have pop-up interactive seasonal events, ie. Christmas, Halloween, Lumina Experiences, etc.
Â
Benefits to BVMR Stakeholders:Â
-
Grows local economy
-
Provides sustainable jobs
-
Expands partnership & growth opportunities with Stolo First NationsÂ
-
Positive, immediate, relatable project that will engage, inspire and onboard the whole community of the Fraser Valley into the BVMR development project as a whole
-
Provide a yearâ round sustainable source of revenue as BVMR is being developed and built
