Invitation & Context:

Monterey Middle School has invited Pinnacle Pursuits to host a 1-2 day event for their 130 Grade 8 students as a celebration end-of-year wrap-up celebration experience as a fun and memorable send-off before they graduate from Monterey. 

Proposed Program Options & Investment/Budget Summary: 

Based on your hopes of either a one day or overnight, here are our recommended options and associated cost ranges. (Please refer below to Printable Downloadable PDF’s with thorough explanations).

THREE Options (Proposal v2):

1. One-Day ‘Team Spirit’ Event! This is a very spectacular and quite popular all-day, end-of-year celebration experience (approx. 5hrs with a lunch beak) that we often host and facilitate at schools, local parks and at partner facilities like Camp Event cost starts at $65pp for a group size of 130ppl, plus any associated expenses (travel, site use/park permits, etc). Event cost ($8,450) + return travel with staff and gear ($950) + Camp Pringle site use fee ($2,200), Total estimated cost = approx. $11,600. (For lunch you could either pack your own or order it through Westcoast Catering at Camp Pringle, which would be about $22-25pp).

2. One-Day Outdoor Adventure + ‘Team Spirit’ Event. This would be a FULL Day experience (8hr day to obtain full value; ie. 9-5pm) at Camp Pringle with a choice of various adventure-based activities (low ropes, high ropes, rock-climbing, canoeing, archery, woodland games/orienteering, team-building, canoeing, swimming/water time, campfire, plus a ‘Survivor Pursuits’/‘Team Spirit’). This would include 4 x 90min outdoor activity blocks with 5 activities running simultaneously with 65 students (ie. 2 blocks of 5 activities in morning with 6-7 staff + repeat in afternoon) PLUS 2 x 2.5hr ‘Event Block’ with 65 students immersed into a full ‘Survivor Pursuits’/‘Team Spirit’ Event (with 3 staff). Event cost ($11,000- $12,500 based on final logistics/needs) + Camp Pringle site use fee ($2,200). Total estimated cost = approx. $13,200 – 14,700. *It is assumed you will pack your own lunch.

3. Overnight Outdoor Retreat. This would be a 2 day/1night Camp Pringle overnight experience with a choice of various adventure-based activities (low ropes, high ropes, rock-climbing, canoeing, archery, woodland games/orienteering, team-building, ‘Survivor Pursuits’ or ‘Team Spirit’, canoeing, swimming/water time, campfire, etc). Pinnacle Staffing & Activity cost for 130 students (+10+ staff) will range anywhere from $14,000-$17,000. Cost for Camp use/accommodations + meals will range anywhere between $15,000- $16,000 ($110-$120pp depending on final logistics and meal choices, etc.). Total estimated cost range = approx. $29,000-$33,000.

Note:

• Pinnacle Costs includes a full professional staff team of instructors / facilitators, return staff travel, accommodation for program staff, industry specific comprehensive five million dollar liability insurance, equipment and all program planning and project management.
• You will be signing separate contracts for programming, camp, and meals.
