Summary of Your Needs & Logistics:
School Contact: Sarah Wang
Number of Participants: 450 (divided into 3 sets of 150) or 750 students (with grade 10’s & 11’s - 5 sets of 150)
Age(s)/Grade Level(s): Grade 8’s (150pp), 9’s (150pp) and then Grade 12’s (150pp) | Possibly Grade 10's (150pp) & Grade 11's (150pp)
Date(s): TBD - Grade 8’s & 9s we are looking at June 27/28/29 (2 days); Grade 10's & 11's TBD; and for the Grade 12’s we are looking at an available day that works in May or June.
Time: Full one-day away events for all 3 (maybe 5) grades. Possibly longer days for all grades and Grade 8’s and 9’s with a traditional Canadian campfire experience (s'mores & possibly bannock).
Location: TBD - Possibly a large local park or at one of our Partner Adventure Camp Facilities (ie. Maple Ridge or Squamish).
Invitation & Context:
After noticing our work at Loon Lake, Sarah Wang has invited Pinnacle Pursuits to provide their Grade 8, 9, (maybe 10, 11) and 12 students with a uniquely fun and memorable end-of-school-year experience. Exact experiences and activities would include a full day-away filled with outdoor learning/team-building activities along with various adventure experiences unique to Canada, ie. campfire and s’mores! (especially for the Grade 8s and 9s). The focus for the Grade 12’s event is more about having a unique high energy grad celebration day!
Proposed Program & Budget Summary:
Point Grey Secondary is flexible for dates, timing and locations for these activities during their stay. Based on overall logistics and budgeting, Pinnacle Pursuits recommends the following options:

*Note: We have adjusted our regular prices and given you a 10-15% large group discount (depending on event) based on hosting 3 groups of 150 students or more.
Price includes full project planning/management, a full staff facilitation team as required each day (along with necessary travel and living costs), facility rental fee, all program equipment/supplies, and $5 million comprehensive liability insurance. Quote is in CDN dollars and is valid for 30 days.

Team Spirit School-wide Celebration Challenge: Portable One-Day Event
Inspired by the TV show Survivor, and filled with 8-10 unique challenges, this high-energy, all-inclusive, competitive event is a great start-of-year or end-of-year event to celebrate your school’s culture, build community team spirit and bring out the best in everyone!
Starting at $49pp for 150 students for 5-6 hours.
Destination Adventure: One-Day or Multi-Day Experience
Break away from the city to the great outdoors by the lake, ‘round the campfire to create lifelong memories! Whether a location of your choice or at one of our partner facilities, activities may include: team spirit challenge, ropes course, rock-climbing, raft-building, canoeing, archery, Wildskills™, orienteering, eco-hike, team-building, and much more!
Starting at $89pp for 150 students for 8-10 hours. *Snacks, catered meals, & program customization additional cost.
Earth & Water - Land & Sea: One-Day or Multi-Day Experience
A unique ‘big’ canoe experience and team-building event that combines your choice of one or several of our land-based activities plus either traditional Voyageur Canoeing, First Nations Canoeing, or Dragon Boating. Custom learning themes can focus on the elements of the historical and cultural significance, leadership education, and/or teamwork dynamics. Option for overnight expedition.
Starting at $99pp for 150 students for 6-7 hours.
